Start With the Sheriff
Floyd County has not operated a jail since 2003. The Sheriff's Office is the first contact for an arrest, transport record, and the identity of the jail that received the person. Published research did not confirm office hours, so call before visiting.

Once staff identify the destination, contact that receiving jail for its booking, custody history, release reason, time, destination, and photo. Childress County is one documented destination, but it is not established as the destination for every arrest.
